Thank you for staying with Ephemeral Fall. In my last blog post, I would like to offer some tips and tricks as well as recommendations on flower suppliers for those who are interested in arranging their own flowers. Join us in the podcast below where me and my partner in crime, Kah Man from #Legit Anot, share about our floristry journey.
Flower Suppliers:
- Practice makes perfect. It might seem difficult to hold the arrangement at first but keep practicing eventually and you would get familiarized with it.
- Love the flowers. Do not be lazy to cut the stems and change water in the vase on a daily basis.
- Take every chance to experiment with new flowers. Learn to handle different flowers and foliage by doing various arrangement and wrapping. It is the best way to understand the nature of different blooms.
- Always calculate your costs. If you plan to get into floristry business, always take note of the costs of the floral materials. It helps in price setting later.
- Don’t waste them. Got a large bundle of flowers but only need a few of them? Use the remaining blooms to make a surprise bouquet for someone as some shops sell loose flowers too.
